Just the Intro is DeMaur's first EP released as an independent artist. The EP incorporates the sounds of RandB with subtle hints of hip-hop that take the listener on a journey from start to finish. The EP is DeMaur's self-written (except for Love Is a Losing Game) exploration of love, inspiration, hope, and self-proclamation that "Everything" he puts his mind to he can achieve! In addition to being a lyricist, DeMaur created the vocal arrangement of every song on the project which also highlights his versatility as a musician.
